BS in Business Program

Our business education is grounded in managerial principles.

Our business degree program on Long Island will give you the knowledge and practical intelligence you need to excel in your current position and to advance beyond it. You’ll learn to manage an organization’s assets: people, money, information, and technology. Our courses cover accounting, finance, management, marketing, business ethics, organizational behavior, and international business—preparing you for the multifaceted dimensions of a management position.

From a curriculum that integrates cutting-edge management theory and practice with state-of-the-art instruction, you will gain the knowledge and skills to stay ahead in today’s technology-driven marketplace. Business graduates go on to positions in sales, management, and real estate or choose to start their own businesses. The degree also provides the academic business foundations necessary to thrive in an MBA or other advanced degree program.

Candidates for Bachelor’s in business degree must have completed at least 120 credits, 60 of which must be in the liberal arts. The final 30 credits must be taken in graded course work at the University, and no more than 60 of the total credits may be awarded from prior learning. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 2.3 in their area of concentration and a minimum GPA of 2.0 from Adelphi overall.
