Online A.S. in Emergency Services Administration

Courses in the undergraduate emergency services degree program will cover important topics and the latest techniques for those working in the field of emergency services administration. The courses include:

The Associate of Science in Emergency Services Administration allows you to quickly achieve a career-boosting credential while preparing for a future bachelor’s degree program. A degree in emergency services administration can help you advance in your career as a police officer, firefighter, health care staff member, military officer, private security officer, public administrator, or any other job that requires preparation for emergencies and disasters. Many students in the program currently work in these fields and will become future leaders. The chance to study with and network among them will prove invaluable as you begin your career.

You can receive up to 30 life experience credits, including credit for your academy training, making it possible to complete this degree program in two semesters. The A.S. degree includes all of the same required liberal arts core courses as other bachelor’s degree programs at Adelphi.

Students may wish to continue their education by pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Services Administration degree, which can then lead to the Master of Science in Emergency Management program or a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management. The A.S. degree may also lead to a bachelor’s degree in literature, social sciences, fine arts (studio art track), business, or criminal justice. This degree can also lead to advanced degrees in public administration and public health.
